Biography

Riti Chokshi, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in neonatal and perinatal medicine.

Dr. Chokshi earned her medical degree at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Washington University in St. Louis and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. She received advanced training through a neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship at UT Southwestern, Children’s Medical Center Dallas, and Parkland Memorial Hospital.

Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025.

Dr. Chokshi has strong clinical interests in neonatal resuscitation, neonatal simulation, and graduate medical education. She has delivered international and national presentations and published peer-reviewed academic articles related to her areas of expertise.

She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Dallas County Medical Association, and the Texas Medical Association.

In 2022, Dr. Chokshi received the Pediatric Residency Outstanding Commitment Award from Washington University in St. Louis and St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

When she’s not at work, Dr. Chokshi enjoys running and traveling.
