Biography
Santiago Perez, Au.D., is a Faculty Associate in the Department of Otolaryngology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in implantable hearing devices and vestibular assessment.
Dr. Perez earned his doctorate in audiology at Pacific University. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from Texas A&M International University in Laredo.
Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.
Dr. Perez is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the Dallas Audiology Society.
Personal Note
Outside of work, Dr. Perez enjoys forest bathing, listening to soundtracks, and spending time with family and friends.
