Biography

Sarah Skodack Winter, M.S.N., APRN, ACNPC-AG, is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management who specializes in critical care medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She completed a one-year, highly specialized fellowship designed by the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in collaboration with the Advanced Practice Providers department at UT Southwestern.

Ms. Winter is a dynamic critical care nursing professional with a 12-year proven track record of success in a variety of intensive care settings. Her passion for continued professional growth in acute care is exemplified by earning a Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in May 2021 and by obtaining board certification through the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner.

She has worked in various critical care units, including medical intensive care and surgical intensive care with trauma experience.
