Biography
Sean C. Faulkner, M.S.N., APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner in the Department of Neurological Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2012 and a Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University in 2018.
Mr. Faulkner began his nurse practitioner career in an inpatient hospital setting, specializing in neurology with a focus on stroke and traumatic brain injuries. His desire to further his education and acquire new skills and procedures led him to pursue a role in neurological surgery.
He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, the American Heart Association, and the American Academy of Neurology. He became a stroke-certified nurse in 2015 and was recognized as one of the Top 100 Nurses in DFW in 2016. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, supportive, and empathetic patient care while enhancing communication with his patients.
