Biography
Shaghayegh (Shay) Rezaie, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, OCN, received her Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Shiraz University in 1999, and Master of Science in Horticulture from Tehran University in 2002. Shay moved to North Texas in 2002, received her Certificate in Biotechnology in 2005, and was involved in scientific research at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 2005-2009. She became a registered nurse in 2010, and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012.
Shay became a certified oncology nurse in 2013, and has worked in radiation oncology, hematology-oncology ambulatory clinics, and the infusion center at UT Southwestern Medical Center since 2012. While working as an oncology nurse, Shay pursued a Master of Science degree in nursing, graduating in 2020. Subsequently, Shay worked as a family nurse practitioner in dermatology, neurotherapeutics infusion, and family practice, before joining the Department of Radiation Oncology.
Shay is a member of various professional organizations, including Oncology Nursing Society, The North Texas Nurse Practitioners, and The American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
