Biography
Shan Luong, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in inpatient internal medicine and sleep medicine.
Dr. Luong earned her medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and completed a residency in internal medicine at UT Southwestern.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2014.
Dr. Luong is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Society of Hospital Medicine, and the Dallas County Medical Society. She serves on several committees for the Division of Hospital Medicine at Parkland Memorial Hospital, including the Practice Management Committee.

Dr. Luong’s interests outside of medicine include cooking, reading, and traveling.
