Biography

Srijna Nandivada, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in general internal medicine.

Originally from India, Dr. Nandivada earned her medical degree at Texas A&M University in College Station. She completed a residency in internal medicine at UT Health Tyler.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Nandivada joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2020.

Dr. Nandivada’s clinical interests include geriatrics and health disparities. She serves as a Colleges Mentor for UT Southwestern Medical School and teaches residents at UT Southwestern Medical Center at RedBird as part of the Internal Medicine Community Health Program. She also serves on UT Southwestern’s Reflection Rounds and its Medication Safety Committee.

She is a member of the American College of Physicians and serves on the Texas Medical Association’s Continuing Medical Education Committee.

In 2023 and 2024, she earned UT Southwestern’s Outstanding Internal Medicine Undergraduate Medical Education Faculty Teaching Award.

Personal Note

Dr. Nandivada’s interests outside of medicine include spending time with her family and friends, traveling, hiking, watching stand-up comedy, exploring new foods, and coming home to her dog.
