Biography

Sun Moon, M.D., is a Faculty Associate in the Department of Neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in headaches, memory impairment, and neuropathy.

Dr. Moon earned her medical degree at the New York University School of Medicine and completed a residency in neurology at Los Angeles General Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in neurology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.

Dr. Moon has delivered numerous presentations and published several academic articles related to her areas of expertise.

In 2019, she earned the Neurology Resident Teacher Award from Los Angeles General Medical Center.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Moon enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, whether it be going to the zoo or playground or simply watching TV at home. If she had more free time, she would love to learn how to create latte art.
