Biography

Tiantian Shi, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in hospital medicine.

Dr. Shi earned her medical degree at Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University in China and completed her residency in internal medicine at Yale New Haven Health. Drawn by the opportunity for the harmonious integration of clinical medicine, radiology, and pathophysiology, she completed an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at Yale New Haven Health.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Dr. Shi's clinical and research interests include health equity, racial and ethnic disparity, genetic cardiomyopathy, and cardiac imaging.

She has presented her research at several conferences and published a variety of peer-reviewed academic articles related to her areas of expertise.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Shi enjoys traveling, crafting, getting outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.
