Biography

Trang Nguyen, MPAS, PA-C, is a board certified Physician Assistant (PA) in the Department of Internal Medicine - Weight Wellness Clinic at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Ms. Nguyen completed her undergraduate degree from Southwest Texas State University and then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UT Southwestern School of Health Professionals in 2008. She worked for 13 years as an Endocrinology APP, with a special interest in Diabetes Management, before returning to UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2023 to join the Weight Wellness Team. Her interests outside of medicine include spending time, especially outdoors, with her family and friends. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and being active.
