Using the latest technologies and advancements in rehabilitation medicine, UT Southwestern’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation team helps patients achieve their highest possible level of physical, functional, and cognitive independence after an injury or illness.
We provide nonsurgical treatment options for patients with joint, back, and neck pain caused by arthritis, acute musculoskeletal injuries, degenerative disc disease, herniated discs, pelvic disorders, and other conditions. Neurorehabilitation is another focus of our clinic, and we treat stroke, concussion, traumatic brain injury (TBI), adult cerebral palsy, and other conditions.
Our board-certified physicians and a team of physical therapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and speech and language pathologists treat a wide variety of medical conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons.
Our goal is to work with patients to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility to alleviate pain, optimize neurorecovery, and improve quality of life without resorting to surgery or long-term medication.
Successful rehabilitation requires a dedicated commitment to your program of recovery. We offer appointments starting as early as 7 a.m. to help you maintain your daily schedule and maximize your rehabilitation experience.
