The story of Rupesh Kotiya and his family is both heartbreaking and inspiring. Diagnosed with ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, in 2014, the neurodegenerative disease slowly robbed "Rupe" of his ability to speak, move, and breathe on his own. But ALS could not take away his chance to help others and set an example of ultimate sacrifice for his two young sons.
