Biography

Ashley Boothe, MS, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP) at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Ms. Boothe earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas Woman's University, and later returned to earn her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. 

Prior to joining the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at UT Southwestern in 2016, she worked in family practice.  

Ms. Boothe is actively involved in serving the community as an advanced practice provider. She has served as a guest lecturer for the University of Texas at Arlington Nurse Practitioner Program and presented at the High School/College Student Healthcare Symposium at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She has also presented for the Texas Nurses Student Association at Tarrant County College.

She enjoys participating as a mentor for advanced practice providers at UT Southwestern, and serves on the UT Southwestern Medical Center Advance Practice Provider Mentorship Committee. She also serves as a preceptor to advanced practice provider students.

She is a member of several professional organizations, including Texas Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
