Biography
Ben Lippe, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center. A specialist in transplant psychology, he provides psychological assessment and intervention with the psychiatry consult-liaison service.
Dr. Lippe earned his doctoral degree in clinical psychology at UT Southwestern and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Southern Methodist University Counseling and Psychiatric Services. He also holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Abilene Christian University. He is a Licensed Psychologist with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2014 and serves on UTSW’s multidisciplinary pain management committee.
He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Southwestern Psychological Association, and the Dallas Psychological Association and serves on the membership committee of the Association of Psychologists in Academic Health Centers. In 2017, he earned the Outstanding Teacher Award from the UT Southwestern Clinical Psychology Program.
He has delivered numerous presentations and published several professional manuscripts.
