Biography

Cecil Christian, M.D., is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Division of Hospital Medicine.

Originally from India, Dr. Christian received his medical degree at SUNY Stony Brook and completed internal medicine residency training at St. Vincent's Medical Center in New York. Dr. Christian has worked as a hospitalist in several community hospitals, including a teaching hospital for a University of Connecticut-affiliated hospital.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Christian joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2014. He serves as Chair of Internal Medicine at Texas Health Resources Frisco.

Dr. Christian's clinical interests include management patients with infectious disease problems, performing and teaching residents ultrasound-guided procedures, and quality improvement in hospital medicine.

Personal Note

Dr. Christian's interests outside of medicine include spending time with his family, attending church, and playing golf and tennis.
