Biography

Christopher Nauser, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in kidney transplantation, pancreas transplantation, and liver transplantation.

Dr. Nauser earned his medical degree at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He completed a residency in general surgery at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and received advanced training through an abdominal transplant surgery fellowship at Duke University Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Surgery, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.

Dr. Nauser is a member of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.

He has delivered poster presentations and published academic articles related to his areas of expertise.

When he’s not at work, Dr. Nauser enjoys photography and cooking.
