Biography
Dileep Mandali, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Mandali was born in India but raised in the Midwest. Inspired by his own family’s struggles with health care in India and America, he pursued medical education and training with a global emphasis. He received his medical degree from an Australian-American program, the University of Queensland-Ochsner Clinical School.
He remained in New Orleans to complete his internal medicine residency at Tulane University School of Medicine, where he was Resident Scholar of the Year and graduated with distinction in hospital medicine, hematology and oncology, and hospice and palliative medicine.
Dr. Mandali's interests include medical education, mentorship, quality improvement, and compassionate end-of-life care.
Personal Note
Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family (including his fur-baby, Nayak), rooting for his beloved Buckeyes, cooking, spending time outdoors, and video games and films.
