Biography

Xingzhe (Dillon) Li, M.D., M.P.H., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in treating breast cancer.

Dr. Li earned his medical degree at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and his master’s degree in public health at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed a radiation oncology residency at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, during which his research on the genomic basis of radiosensitivity and advanced radiotherapy delivery technologies garnered him an American Society of Clinical Oncology Young Investigator Award.

He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.

Dr. Li is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American College of Radiology, and the American Association for Cancer Research.

His research interests include new radiotherapy techniques and systemic therapies, such as cellular therapies, to improve treatment outcomes for cancer patients. Dr. Li has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and abstracts on biomedical science and clinical medicine topics related to his areas of expertise.

Personal Note

Outside of work, Dr. Li enjoys exploring DFW-area museums and parks with his family, playing competitive tennis and basketball, fusion cooking, and traveling to experience different cultures.
