Recognized by U.S. News & World Report

UT Southwestern Medical Center is recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the nation's top 25 hospitals for cancer care, and we are rated as "High Performing" in the treatment of leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma, placing us among the leading facilities in the U.S. for these conditions.

Radiation Oncology Team Care

The Radiation Oncology Building and the equipment it houses enhance disease-site specialization in the treatment of cancer patients. Each major disease site – such as brain, breast, or gastrointestinal cancer – has its own dedicated area for teams of doctors and scientists.

That framework is consistent with how radiation oncologists at Simmons Cancer Center treat cancer. Each physician specializes in the treatment of a particular cancer type, enabling individual specialists – surrounded by like specialists – to bring familiarity and expertise to each patient encounter.
