Biography
Jamie Nivens, D.O., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in family medicine and primary care.
Dr. Nivens earned his medical degree at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship in family medicine at the Dallas/Fort Worth Medical Center – Grand Prairie.
Certified by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.
Dr. Nivens is a member of several professional associations, including the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association.
