Jason Jarin, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in pediatric and adolescent gynecology.

Dr. Jarin earned his medical degree at the University of Mississippi. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine and received advanced training through a fellowship in pediatric and adolescent gynecology at Georgetown University Hospital/Medstar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2016.

He is a medical provider for the Gender Education and Care Interdisciplinary Support (GENECIS) program at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, which provides care to children and adolescents with gender dysphoria and their parents. He is also a member of the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (NASPAG) and serves on the NASPAG Abstract Committee. In addition, he is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Jarin has been an invited speaker at events focused on pediatric and adolescent gynecology, including the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine’s Annual Meeting and the annual Gender Spectrum Conference. He has also published a range of academic articles, delivered several oral presentations, and contributed to the book Pediatric and Adolescent Oncofertility: Best Practices and Emerging Technologies.
