Biography

Ki Park, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in complex coronary and structural interventions.

Dr. Park earned her medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at UF Health, where she also gained advanced training through fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. In addition, she completed a research fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Florida’s Cardiovascular Cell Therapy Research Network.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiology and interventional cardiology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024 and serves as Head of Structural Interventions at Parkland Memorial Hospital.

Prior to joining UT Southwestern, Dr. Park was Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Structural Heart Program at Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida, as well as the Director of Women’s Cardiovascular Health Services at the University of Florida. She also served as Program Director for Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Florida.

She is a member of the American Heart Association and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. For the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Park serves on the Interventional Section Leadership Council and the Interventional Section of the Annual Scientific Sessions Program Committee. She is an editorial board member for the Journal of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.

Dr. Park’s clinical and research interests are focused on structural interventions and women’s cardiovascular health.

She has published numerous academic articles in her areas of expertise, including publications in both interventional cardiology, women’s cardiovascular disease, and cardio-obstetrics.

In 2021, Dr. Park received a Special Achievement Award from the Florida Chapter of the American College of Cardiology.

Outside of work, Dr. Park enjoys cooking and reading.
