Biography

Laindy Liu, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in minimally invasive colorectal surgery, inflammatory bowel disease, and colorectal cancers.

Dr. Liu earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School, where she also completed a residency in general surgery and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery.

Certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Dr. Liu has delivered presentations and published peer-reviewed academic articles related to her areas of expertise.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Liu enjoys spending time with her family, rock climbing, and baking.
