Biography

Madeline Rodriguez, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in primary care for adults.

Dr. Rodriguez earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident, and received advanced training through a general internal medicine and medical education fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.

Dr. Rodriguez is a general internist with an interest in geriatric medicine. She is also a clinician educator, serving as Associate Program Director for the UT Southwestern Internal Medicine Residency and as Director of its Medical Education Pathway. She also serves as Co-Director of the UT Southwestern General Internal Medicine Peer Mentorship Program.

She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine, and the Society of General Internal Medicine.

Dr. Rodriguez has delivered national and regional invited lectures and published peer-reviewed academic articles related to her areas of expertise.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Rodriguez enjoys spending time with her son and husband and gardening.
