Biography

Naveen Yadav, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in general urology.

Dr. Yadav earned his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, where he also completed a residency in urology.

Certified by the American Board of Urology, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2026, after practicing in California for eight years.

Dr. Yadav is a strong proponent of patient education, an entrepreneur, and a board member of the Sun Academic Foundation, a nonprofit that improves access to education for impoverished and remote areas in India.

He has published several academic articles and has a strong interest in and experience with device design.

Dr. Yadav is a member of the American Urological Association.

Personal Note

When he’s not at work, Dr. Yadav enjoys designing devices and prototypes, 3D printing, hiking, running, and spending time with friends and family.
