Biography

Parker Read, M.S., CGC, is a senior genetic counselor in the UTSW Cancer Genetics Program. He joined UT Southwestern in 2016 after graduating with his Master of Science in genetic counseling from the University of Michigan. He sees patients at risk for hereditary cancer predisposition syndromes at multiple UT Southwestern clinics.

Outside of his clinical roles, Parker has a passion for professional education and enjoys the opportunity to discuss the impact of genetic information with students, medical providers, and future clinicians.
