Raamis Khwaja, M.D.

Biography

Raamis Khwaja, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in general hematology and oncology, with a particular focus on genitourinary oncology.

Dr. Khwaja earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School. He completed a residency in internal medicine at UTHealth Houston, where he served as Chief Resident and worked with mentors at MD Anderson Cancer Center for his clinical hematology and oncology rotations. He received advanced training through a hematology and oncology fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2026.

Dr. Khwaja is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.

When he’s not at work, Dr. Khwaja enjoys reading, traveling, and playing sports.
