Biography
Roozbeh Ahmadi, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in physiatry and interventional pain management, especially interventional spine procedures, neuromodulation, musculoskeletal medicine, and image-guided peripheral nerve and joint injections.
Dr. Ahmadi earned his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, serving as Chief Resident, and gained advanced training through a fellowship in interventional pain medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he served as Academic Chief Fellow. He also holds a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Tufts University School of Medicine.
Board certified in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.
Dr. Ahmadi is a member of the North American Neuromodulation Society, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the North American Spine Society, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the Association of Academic Physiatrists.
He has delivered numerous presentations and published several academic articles related to his areas of expertise.
