Biography

Scott Ehlers, DNP, APRN, NNP-BC is a board certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the department of Pediatrics - Neonatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Ehlers completed his undergraduate (BSN) and graduate degrees (MSN & DNP) from the University of South Alabama College of Nursing in Mobile, AL. He has worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as a Registered Nurse since 2012 and a NICU NP since 2018. He finds accomplishment in quality improvement projects, involvement with a small baby unit, patient-family education, student teaching, and nursing informatic improvements.
