Biography

Suyue Zhang, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in vascular surgery, especially aortic pathologies such as aneurysms and dissections, limb salvage, and dialysis access.

Dr. Zhang earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School. He completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Illinois Hospital and received advanced training through a vascular surgery fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Surgery, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025.

Dr. Zhang has delivered presentations and published academic articles related to his areas of expertise.

Personal Note

When he’s not at work, Dr. Zhang enjoys running, rock climbing, and spending time with his family.
