Biography

Tiffany Lu, O.D., is a Faculty Associate in the Department of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in primary care optometry, specialty contact lens fitting, and myopia management.

Dr. Lu earned her optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry. She completed a residency in cornea and contact lenses at The Ohio State University.

She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025.

Dr. Lu is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association, the Gas Permeable Lens Institute, and the Texas Optometric Association.

She has served as a co-investigator for several research studies and enjoys writing and lecturing on specialty contact lenses.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Lu enjoys playing piano, exploring local foods, spending time with her miniature schnauzer, Bucky, and staying involved in her church.
