Biography

Victoria Thomas, D.N.P., APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Park Cities. With more than a decade of experience in family medicine, she is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes long-term health and well-being.

Dr. Thomas earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Texas Woman’s University, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Langston University. She is board-certified in family medicine by both the American Nurses Credentialing Center (FNP-BC) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (NP-C). She specializes in comprehensive, evidence-based primary care for patients of all ages.

Dr. Thomas believes in building strong, trusting relationships with patients and considers it a privilege to partner with them on their journey toward better health. She is passionate about empowering patients to take ownership of their health through education, prevention, and lifestyle transformation. She brings empathy, expertise, and genuine care to every patient encounter—making her not only a skilled clinician, but also a trusted advocate for health and healing.

Her clinical interests include preventive wellness, obesity medicine, and women’s health. Beyond the exam room, she enjoys traveling, reading, and volunteering with her college sorority, as well as spending time with her family, friends, and miniature dachshund.
