Biography

Vincent Lee, D.O., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in sports medicine, particularly nonoperative orthopedic care, injection therapies, and orthobiologics.

Dr. Lee earned his medical degree at the Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. He completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, New York, where he served as Chief Resident. He gained advanced training through a sports medicine fellowship at Geisinger Health System in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Lee joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025.

He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, and the Association of Academic Physiatrists.

Dr. Lee has delivered presentations, contributed to the book Sports Coverage: The Handbook for the Sports Medicine Clinician, and published peer-reviewed academic articles related to his areas of expertise.

In 2024, he was named Burke Rehabilitation Hospital’s Resident of the Year.

Personal Note

When he’s not at work, Dr. Lee enjoys hiking, making ceramics, and cooking.
