Cancer survivorship starts at diagnosis. As a cancer survivor you may face unique challenges related to your heart because the treatments that help fight cancer can affect the heart and blood vessels.

At the University Hospital Simmons Cancer Center Cardio-Oncology Clinic, home to our internationally recognized Cardio-Oncology Center of Excellence, we combine unique clinical expertise and leading-edge research to identify and mitigate cardiovascular risks due to cancer and cancer treatments, and treat any damage that has occurred during and after cancer therapy.

Cardio-oncology and hematology and oncology teams collaborate to protect your heart while you receive the most effective cancer treatments.

As specialists in heart disease due to cancer and cancer treatments, our team of cardio-oncologists has advanced training, knowledge, and experience you won’t find anywhere else in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
