Making Health Care Better – and More Convenient

UT Southwestern Medical Center is building a state-of-the-art outpatient facility as part of the exciting redevelopment of a historic Dallas landmark, RedBird. Guided by a commitment to excellence and service, our new facility will open in summer 2022. This will bring UT Southwestern’s best-in-class care closer to communities in Southwest Dallas County, as well as surrounding areas.

Expanding Throughout North Texas

UT Southwestern will be located in a 150,000-square-foot space at RedBird that once housed Sears. It will be part of a growing network of UT Southwestern outpatient centers that also includes facilities in Richardson/Plano, Park Cities, Frisco, Las Colinas, and Fort Worth. They’re all connected to outpatient services and our hospital on UT Southwestern’s main campus in the Medical District.

Dedicated to Improving Health

Patients can expect the very best in medicine from the doctors, nurses, and other medical experts who will be at UT Southwestern RedBird. This includes the latest advances to evaluate, treat, and prevent illnesses. A broad range of programs and services for adults will be available, with a focus on:
