Biography

Abigail Rosales, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in family medicine, obstetrics, and women’s health.

Dr. Rosales earned her medical degree at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. She completed a residency in family medicine at the Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas, during which she served as Chief Resident. She gained advanced training through an obstetrics and gynecology fellowship at St. Joseph Hospital in Colorado. She also holds an M.B.A. in health organization management from Texas Tech.

Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Rosales joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025.

In 2023, Dr. Rosales received a Scholarly Activity Award from the Methodist Health System for her role in developing a new community medicine rotation.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Rosales enjoys singing karaoke, going to concerts, being a foodie, spending time with her family, and kayaking.
