Bailey Leal, M.S.

Biography

Bailey Leal, M.S., CGC, is a board-certified genetic counselor at the UT Southwestern Cancer Genetics Program. She specializes in genetic counseling for patients who are at risk for hereditary cancer syndromes and sees patients in multiple clinics around the Dallas metroplex.

Ms. Leal received her Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from the University of California Los Angeles. Prior to joining UT Southwestern in 2024, she worked at the University of California Los Angeles Health System where she staffed the pediatric and general genetics clinics.

Her interests include genetics education efforts for community providers, increasing access to genetic services, and providing inpatient care.
