Biography

Crystal R. Foster, M.D., M.P.H., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in child and adolescent health, integrative and preventive medicine, and women’s health.

Dr. Foster earned her medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) School of Medicine, and she completed her residency in family medicine at Carolinas Medical Center. She also holds a master’s degree in public health from the UNC School of Public Health.

Board certified in family medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.

Dr. Foster is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.

Her personal interests include swimming, reading, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two children.
