Biography

Dana Becker, M.S., is a Certified Genetic Counselor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in genetic counseling for patients who are pregnant or planning a pregnancy.

Ms. Becker earned her Master of Science in genetic counseling from Columbia University in New York. Certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty and Ob/Gyn maternal-fetal medicine team in 2024. She sees patients in person at multiple UT Southwestern sites and also offers virtual visits.

Ms. Becker is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors and the Texas Society of Genetic Counselors.
