Biography

Jacqueline Mersch, M.S., CGC, joined UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Cancer Genetics program in 2014 after completing her Master of Science in genetic counseling at University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in Houston. Prior to her career as a genetic counselor, she worked in hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell preservation.

In addition to managing the UT Southwestern Cancer Genetics Program in Fort Worth, she sees patients at risk for hereditary cancer syndromes at multiple UT Southwestern clinics. Her current research interests include the clinical impact of variant reclassification and psychosocial screening for genetic counseling patients.
