Biography
Jana Heady, M.S., CGC, joined UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Cancer Genetics Program in 2023 after graduating with her Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She specializes in genetic counseling for patients at risk for hereditary cancer syndromes in the Fort Worth area.
Her interests include engaging with genetic support and advocacy organizations, fostering discussions around genetic counseling ethics, expanding access to genetic counseling services to underserved communities, and mentoring current and prospective genetic counseling students.
