Biography

Monica Li, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in hypertension, hyperlipidemia, weight management, and mental health.

Dr. Li earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025.

Dr. Li has delivered numerous presentations and published peer-reviewed academic articles and abstracts related to her areas of expertise. In 2021, she earned the American Medical Women’s Association Glasgow-Rubin Certificate of Commendation for Academic Achievement.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Li enjoys art, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
