Biography

Pamela De La Cruz Rivera, M.D., Ph.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. De La Cruz Rivera earned her medical degree and doctoral degree in molecular biology at UT Southwestern Medical School. After completing a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UT Southwestern, she joined the faculty in 2024.

Her clinical interests include the management of pregnancy, gynecologic concerns, and general women’s health. She has published several articles in academic journals and delivered numerous presentations related to her areas of expertise.

She is bilingual and welcomes Spanish-speaking patients to her practice.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. De La Cruz Rivera enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and dog.
