Biography

Priya Nangrani, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in neurorehabilitation, brain injury, and spasticity management.

Dr. Nangrani earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch. She completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Baylor University Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident, and received advanced training through a brain injury medicine fellowship at UT Southwestern.

She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025.

Dr. Nangrani is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Association of Academic Physiatrists.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Nangrani enjoys singing and keeping up with her young daughter.
