Biography

Sayoni Lahiri, M.S., CGC, is the Population Health Manager for the UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Cancer Genetics Program. She completed her graduate training at Northwestern University in Chicago, receiving a Master of Science degree in genetic counseling. Sayoni joined UT Southwestern in 2015 and currently oversees the Population Health team, which focuses on population screening for hereditary cancer and genetic patient navigation. She also provides comprehensive cancer genetic counseling across multiple UT Southwestern clinics.

Sayoni’s professional and research interests include expanding access to genetics services in underserved populations, use of alternate service delivery models in clinical practice, improving clinical outcomes of patients with hereditary cancer, and management of patients with complex genetic testing results.
