Zale Lipshy Pavilion is undergoing renovations. In addition to improving systems and enhancing operating rooms, we’ll also upgrade our dining spaces and expand acute and rehabilitation services to better serve you.
During these updates, we’ve adjusted service locations and some amenity options have changed. We remain focused on providing exceptional services and maintaining the highest standards of care.
We encourage patients to review their MyChart settings and register to receive messages to stay current with construction notices. To receive MyChart notifications, select Menu in the upper left corner of your MyChart landing page and scroll to the Communications Preferences. Once on the page, toggle to select email.
Temporary Building Entrance
Beginning December 9, 2023, and continuing through the fall of 2024, the main building entrance and valet service will move closer to Parkland's former hospital site off Lofland Blvd. You may want to allow extra time before your visit.

Guest and Patient Services Representatives
During the renovation, Guest and Patient Services representatives will be available at the temporary building entrance to make each patient’s hospital stay and each guest’s visit as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
Representatives can give directions, answer questions, and arrange for services such as a personal escort, notary, stretcher assistance, hotel reservations, taxis, and more.

Visiting Hours
Zale Lipshy Pavilion has flexible visiting hours to accommodate the needs of our patients and their guests. Friends and family may stay overnight in patient rooms. Learn about our visitation guidelines.
Dining
Zale Lipshy Pavilion offers convenient dining options for inpatients, as well as outpatients and visitors.
Beginning mid-December, our temporary café will offer featured hot entrees and a selection of prepared sandwiches, snacks, and salad options from a temporary location on the 1st floor.
Signs and Guest and Patient Services can direct you to the location.
Dining will be available 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
Chapel
A meditation chapel is located on the first floor. Visitors of all faiths are welcome. To request a chaplain, call 214-633-4080.
Lodging
Guest and Patient Service representatives can help make arrangements at one of several nearby hotels. Several nearby hotels (PDF) offer special rates and shuttle service to patients and their families through a contract with UT Southwestern.
Gift Shop
The gift shop will be unavailable until the fall of 2024. The gift shop at Clements University Hospital is available via a shuttle if needed.
