Garen Collett, M.D.

Biography

Garen Collett, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in adult hip and knee reconstruction.

Dr. Collett earned his medical degree at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio’s Long School of Medicine. He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at UT Southwestern and received advanced training through a fellowship in adult reconstruction surgery at Cleveland Clinic Florida. He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.

A member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, Dr. Collett has published several articles in peer-reviewed articles related to his areas of interest.
