Biography
Michael Oh, M.D., D.M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in dental implantology for full rehabilitation and reconstruction, corrective jaw surgery, maxillofacial trauma surgery, and surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea.
Dr. Oh earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern, where he also completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He completed his dental medicine training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, graduating with the highest honors, including the Theodor Blum Award for oral and maxillofacial surgery and induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Society.
A candidate for certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.
Dr. Oh is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
