Biography

​Taylor Shepard, M.S.N., APRN-CNP, AGNP-C, serves as lead advanced practice provider for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where she is a licensed and board-certified adult and gerontology nurse practitioner working in general orthopaedics alongside multiple orthopaedic physicians.

Ms. Shepard was born and raised in western New York. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2017 from the State University of New York at Brockport and began her career as a registered nurse in outpatient ambulatory surgery and women’s health in Dallas. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing in 2021 from Texas Woman’s University. Before joining UTSW, she worked as a nurse practitioner in rheumatology.
