Thoracic surgery experts at UT Southwestern Frisco deliver comprehensive care for conditions affecting the chest (thorax) and upper gastrointestinal tract, including the esophagus and stomach, as well as benign chest disorders.
Our general thoracic surgeons and thoracic surgical oncologists focus on prevention, early detection, and advanced treatment of thoracic diseases. Whenever appropriate, they use minimally invasive approaches such as video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) and robotic-assisted techniques.

On the day of your appointment, please arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for parking and registration. We will do our best to see you at your scheduled appointment time.

- Driver’s license or other approved government-issued photo ID
- Method of payment – credit or debit card only
- Current medications
- Relevant past medical records, if available
- Completed paperwork, if you received forms before the visit

Canceling an Appointment
If you need to cancel an appointment, please call the clinic or cancel via MyChart 24 to 48 hours in advance so we can accommodate other patients who might be waiting for an appointment.
